The Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions trounced the visiting Henderson Collegiate Pride soccer team by a score of 5-0 in Thursday's league contest.
Next, the Flying Lions face the Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC) in a Triangle North 1A contest, on Monday, May 8. Excelsior Classical Academy will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 9-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).
The Pride now have a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Roxboro Community for a Triangle North 1A contest on Friday, May 5. Henderson Collegiate will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
