Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN), 19-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now sport a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Brown County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4. Southwestern will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, New Washington falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Brown County (Nashville, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 4.
