Ohio High School Volleyball - St. Vincent-St. Mary over Firestone

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH) and the host Firestone Falcons (Akron, OH), saw St. Vincent-St. Mary's volleyball squad beat Firestone by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Vincent-St. Mary upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Fighting Irish host Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Walsh Jesuit lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH)

The Falcons now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Stow-Munroe Falls for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 10. Firestone will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.
