California High School Softball - Marina bounces Anzar

Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), 17-6 in a league challenge.

The Mariners now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pajaro Valley for a PCAL - Santa Lucia challenge on Monday, May 9.

With the loss, Anzar falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Seaside (Seaside, CA) to face the Spartans in a PCAL - Santa Lucia challenge on Monday, May 9. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Seaside lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA)
