The Ledyard Colonels softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs to 2 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Ledyard improves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Colonels travel to Killingly (Killingly, CT) to clash with the Redmen in a non-league game on Saturday, May 7. The Redmen come into the game with a record of 6-7. Killingly won 8-6 in their recent league game against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT)

In their next game, the Centaurs clash with the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 7. Woodstock Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 1-11 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT).
