The Richland Rams softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Somerset Eagles to 0 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Richland improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Rams host Bishop Guilfoyle (Altoona, PA) to clash with the Marauders in a Laurel Highlands 1 game on Monday, May 9. The Marauders come into the game with a record of 0-3. Bishop Guilfoyle lost 20-2 in their recent league game against Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 7. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the game with a 10-2 record after their 9-2 league loss to Shade (Cairnbrook, PA).
