Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA) and the visiting Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA), saw Amherst County's baseball squad beat Rustburg by a margin of 11-0.

Coming up next, the Lancers play the Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Amherst County will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record. The Bees enter the battle with a 5-11 record after their 13-2 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA).
