In Friday's league game, the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), by a final score of 4-0.

The Blue Devils (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Union (Appalachia, VA). The Bears go into the Mountain 7 game with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Union tipped Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA), 8-0, in a league challenge.

The Generals now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgeview for a Mountain 7 challenge on Monday, May 8. Lee will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Union (Appalachia, VA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-11.
