In Monday's non-league bout, the St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN), by a tally of 6-0.
Next up, the Fighting Saints encounter the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) in a Three Rivers bout, on Tuesday, May 6. St. Charles will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Lancers enter the bout with a 12-1 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Fillmore Central/Lanesboro (Harmony, MN).
The Tigers (3-11) will now prepare for their bout against Byron (Byron, MN). The Bears enter the Hiawatha Valley bout with a 6-4 record. In their last bout, Byron was overwhelmed by Austin (Austin, MN), 5-4, in a non-league bout.
