Fans at Monday's league battle between the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) and the host Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL), saw Bloom's soccer squad hold off Beecher by a count of 4-3.

The Blazing Trojan (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Momence (Momence, IL). The Momence Athletics enter the SICA battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Momence was edged by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bobcats battle the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a SICA battle, on Wednesday, May 7. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-15 record after their 7-1 league loss to Thornwood (South Holland, IL).
