The Providence Grove Patriots soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Monday.
The Patriots now hold a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatmore for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, May 7. Providence Grove will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Eastern Randolph moves to 2-15 on the year. The Wildcats host Trinity (Trinity, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, May 7.
