Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 7-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Union Academy moves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to South Stanly (Norwood, NC) to clash with the Rebel Bulls in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Wednesday, May 7. The Rebel Bulls come into the test with a record of 0-9. South Stanly lost 7-1 in their recent league test against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)

The Tigers now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. Mount Pleasant will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 10-10.
