The Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), 10-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Blue Devils now hold a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Union for a Mountain 7 challenge on Friday, May 9.
With the loss, Ridgeview moves to 0-11 on the year. The Wolfpack host Abingdon (Abingdon, VA) to encounter the Falcons in a Mountain 7 challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Abingdon won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Union (Big Stone Gap, VA)
