The Penobscot Valley Howlers softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Schenck Wolverines to 0 in the Howlers league win on Monday.

The Howlers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stearns for a Class D North battle on Wednesday, May 7. Penobscot Valley will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Schenck moves to 2-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME) to confront the Patriots in a Class D North battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Bangor Christian won 17-6 in their recent non-league battle against Searsport (Searsport, ME)
