The North Smithfield Northmen lacrosse team scored 9 points and limited the visiting Classical Purple to 3 in the Northmen league triumph on Monday.
The Northmen (11-1) will now prepare for their game against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts enter the Division 4 game with a 0-12 record. In their last game, Cranston East was overwhelmed by North Providence (North Providence, RI), 13-3, in a league game.
The Purple (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Rogers (Newport, RI). The Vikings enter the Division 4 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Rogers was overwhelmed by Scituate (North Scituate, RI), 9-3, in a league game.
