In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), by a margin of 10-3.
With the win, Artesia betters its record to 18-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 20-4. St. Pius X won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM)
With the defeat, Goddard falls to 13-14 on the season.
