The Middletown South Eagles nipped the visiting Manalapan Braves softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Tuesday's league contest.
With the triumph, Middletown South moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Eagles host Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ) to play the Jaguars in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 9. The Jaguars come into the contest with a record of 9-8.
In their next game, the Braves play the Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 8. Manalapan will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record.
