The Meridian Mustangs triumphed over the host Annandale Atoms baseball squad by a score of 23-6 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern contest, on Friday, May 9. Meridian will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 4-0 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).

The Atoms now possess a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 8. Annandale will confront a Colonials squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 9-9.
