In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting North Kingstown Skippers baseball team scored a close 7-4 victory over the Coventry Oakers.
The Skippers (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Fitch (Groton, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Fitch by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Oakers face the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 15. Coventry will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
