The Pike County Central Hawks softball team scored 10 runs and held the host East Ridge Warriors to 2 in the Hawks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magoffin County for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. Pike County Central will confront a Hornets team coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, East Ridge moves to 8-13 on the season. The Warriors travel to Floyd Central (Eastern, KY) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 13. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 15-10. Floyd Central lost 12-3 in their recent non-league battle against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY)
