New York High School Softball - North Tonawanda edges Grand Island

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting North Tonawanda Lumberjacks softball team scored a tight 5-3 win over the Grand Island Vikings.
The Lumberjacks (7-0) will now prepare for their match against Kenmore East (Tonawanda, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, Kenmore East by Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY), 8-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Clarence Red Devils (Clarence, NY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 8. Grand Island will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 8-4 league loss to Williamsville North (Williamsville, NY).
