Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Panthers confront the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Wednesday, May 10. Johnston will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Saints enter the test with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Scituate (North Scituate, RI).
The Villa Novans (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI). The enter the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Paul Cuffee was knocked off by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
