The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) and the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI), saw Johnston's volleyball squad beat Woonsocket by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Johnston upgrades its record to 15-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, June 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Tolman won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI)

The Villa Novans now own a 11-5 record.
