Vinal RVT Hawks (Middletown, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 13-10 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grasso Tech for a Connecticut Tech challenge on Friday, May 10.

With the loss, Goodwin Tech falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Platt RVT (Milford, CT) to battle the Panthers in a Connecticut Tech challenge on Friday, May 10. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3.
