In Thursday's non-league bout, the Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) soccer squad nipped the visiting St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT), by a margin of 3-2.

The Lions now hold a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to American Heritage for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 10. Maeser Prep Academy will play a Patriots squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Grand County (Moab, UT). The Patriots record now stands at 14-2.

With the loss, St. Joseph moves to 9-5 on the year.
