The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), observed Oscar Smith's softball team notch a victory over Indian River by a final score of 14-0.

The Tigers (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins go into the Southeastern bout with a 13-3 record. In their last bout, Western Branch gained a win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 9-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Braves battle the Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Indian River will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA).
