Illinois High School Softball - Monmouth United held off by Princeville

The Princeville Princes got by the host Monmouth United Red Storm softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Princes meet the Monmouth United Red Storm (Monmouth, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Thursday, May 8. Princeville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-18 season record. The Red Storm go into the challenge with a 4-20 record after their 10-0 league loss to Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL).
