Ohio High School Baseball - Wellington defeats Clearview

Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Clearview Clippers (Lorain, OH), 14-6 in a league test.

With the win, Wellington upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Dukes travel to Columbia (Columbia Station, OH) to battle the Raiders in a Lorain County 8 test on Tuesday, May 10. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-3.

With the defeat, Clearview falls to 1-11 on the season. The Clippers travel to Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 10. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-6. Open Door Christian lost 11-3 in their recent league test against Lake Ridge Academy (North Ridgeville, OH)
