Next, the Rams confront the Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, May 12. Purnell Swett will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 0-0 league Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).

The Tigers now have a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jack Britt for a United Eight 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, May 10. South View will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 13-3.
