The Nelson County Governors soccer team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Bath County Chargers to 1 in the Governors non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next, the Governors face the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood contest, on Wednesday, May 10. Nelson County will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Mecklenburg County (Baskerville, VA).
