The William Byrd Terriers crushed the host Northside Vikings baseball team by a tally of 12-4 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Terriers now hold a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Salem for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 11. William Byrd will face a Spartans team coming off a 5-3 league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-2.
Next, the Vikings face the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 12. Northside will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 4-10 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
