The Corning Cardinals softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Orland Trojans to 8 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Corning moves its record to 4-12 on the year.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) in a Butte View game, on Thursday, May 11. Orland will attempt to move on its 12-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 14-5 record after their 10-1 league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
