California High School Softball - Helix bounces Monte Vista

In Friday's league match, the visiting Helix Highlanders softball team scored a nice 20-0 victory over the Monte Vista Monarchs.
The Highlanders (14-6) will now prepare for their match against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors go into the Grossmont Valley match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Mount Miguel was routed by Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 11-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont Valley match, on Wednesday, May 14. Monte Vista will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Foothillers go into the match with a 9-15 record after their 15-0 league win over El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).
