Shenandoah Mustangs (Shenandoah, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sidney for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 12. Shenandoah will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 14-10 league loss to East Mills (Malvern, IA). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Red Oak falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 12. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 10-11. Jefferson won 12-11 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)
