The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA) and the host Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA), saw Twin Cedars's baseball team gain a win over Seymour by a tally of 19-8.

The Sabers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA). The Saints enter the Bluegrass - East battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Melcher-Dallas was overwhelmed by Wayne (Corydon, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Warriors face the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) in a Bluegrass - East battle, on Monday, June 16. Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
