The Lynnville-Sully Hawks baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting H-L-V Warriors to 1 in the Hawks league win on Monday.
The Hawks now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keota for a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, June 3. Lynnville-Sully will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 11-1 league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, H-L-V drops to 2-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Montezuma (Montezuma, IA) to clash with the Braves in a South Iowa Cedar test on Tuesday, June 3. The Braves go into the test with a record of 2-3. Montezuma lost 5-4 in their recent league test against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA)
