The Cyclones (10-14) will now prepare for their battle against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 1-17 record. In their last battle, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura was routed by Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Sailors now possess a 1-19 record. They play next when they host Dike-New Hartford for a non-league battle on Monday, June 24. Columbus will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Jesup (Jesup, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-8.
