Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 13-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Denver improves its record to 14-17 on the year. The Cyclones travel to Lisbon (Lisbon, IA) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, July 10. The Lions enter the game with a record of 24-12. Lisbon lost 9-6 in their recent non-league game against North Linn (Troy Mills, IA)

The Sailors now hold a 1-23 record.
