Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now own a 20-8 record. They take the field next when they host Dowling Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. Southeast Polk will battle a Maroons squad coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Waukee (Waukee, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 8-13.

With the loss, Northwest falls to 14-3 on the campaign. The Wolves host Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 26. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 21-5. Ankeny won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA)
