The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA) and the visiting Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA), saw Northwest's softball squad nip Southeast Polk by a count of 3-2.

The Wolves now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Ankeny for a non-league match on Monday, June 26. Northwest will face a Hawks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 21-5.

The Rams (20-8) will now prepare for their test against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons come into the non-league test with a 8-13 record. In their last test, Dowling Catholic edged Waukee (Waukee, IA), 10-7, in a non-league test.
