The Boone Toreadors baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Carroll Tigers to 4 in the Toreadors non-league win on Monday.

The Toreadors now hold a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Polk for a non-league test on Wednesday, June 26. Boone will play a Comets team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Comets record now stands at 18-4.

With the defeat, Carroll drops to 6-13 on the year. The Tigers host Harlan (Harlan, IA) to play the Cyclones in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 25. The Cyclones go into the test with a record of 21-6. Harlan won 8-5 in their recent league test against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA)
