The Jesup J-Hawks softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Oelwein Huskies to 4 in the J-Hawks league win on Monday.

The J-Hawks now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Don Bosco for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 26. Jesup will confront a Dons team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The Dons record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Oelwein moves to 8-14 on the season. The Huskies host Anamosa (Anamosa, IA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 26. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 7-14. Anamosa lost 9-7 in their recent non-league battle against Beckman (Dyersville, IA)
