The Sioux City East Black Raiders baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Le Mars Bulldogs to 4 in the Black Raiders league win on Thursday.

The Black Raiders now hold a 24-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenwood for a non-league test on Saturday, June 28. Sioux City East will play a Rams team coming off a 11-10 league win over Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Rams record now stands at 8-14.

With the defeat, Le Mars drops to 2-22 on the year. The Bulldogs host Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA) to play the Warriors in a Missouri River test on Monday, June 30. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 22-12. Sergeant Bluff-Luton lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA)
