The Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) softball nipped the visiting Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 4-3 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the Raccoon River bout with a 6-8 record.
