The Glidden-Ralston Wildcats baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Exira-EHK Spartans to 5 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coon Rapids-Bayard for a Rolling Valley test on Monday, June 9. Glidden-Ralston will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 12-0 league win over Boyer Valley (Dunlap, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Exira-EHK drops to 0-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA) to clash with the Rockets in a Rolling Valley test on Monday, June 9. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 0-3. Ar-We-Va lost 11-1 in their recent league test against CAM (Anita, IA)
