The East Greenwich Avengers softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Westerly Bulldogs to 0 in the Avengers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, East Greenwich moves its record to 21-1 on the year. The Avengers travel to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI) to play the Chieftains in a non-league game on Monday, June 12. In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, June 10. Westerly will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record.
