The Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA), 13-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 19-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest for a CIML challenge on Thursday, July 3. Johnston will play a Wolves team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 17-6.
Next, the J-Hawks play the Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) in a CIML game, on Thursday, July 3. Urbandale will attempt to improve on its 11-20 season record. The Maroons go into the game with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Valley (West Des Moines, IA).
