The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) and the host Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), saw North Fayette Valley's baseball team gain a win over Postville by a tally of 11-7.

The (4-25) will now prepare for their battle against Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Cadets enter the non-league battle with a 7-16 record. In their last battle, Crestwood was overwhelmed by Oelwein (Oelwein, IA), 10-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a Upper Iowa battle, on Saturday, July 5. Postville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 21-7 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Waukon (Waukon, IA).
