The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) and the host Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA), observed Nodaway Valley's softball team get by Central Decatur by a final score of 5-0.

The Wolverines (4-13) will now prepare for their bout against Stanton (Stanton, IA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 9-13 record. In their last bout, Stanton was routed by Bedford (Bedford, IA), 16-14, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, July 2. Central Decatur will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Moravia (Moravia, IA).
