In Monday's league test, the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA), by a tally of 8-0.

Next, the Warriors meet the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, July 9. North Union will attempt to better on its 21-7 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 15-12 record after their 14-0 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA).

With the loss, West Hancock moves to 4-19 on the season.
